i got an answer to this feature request directly from vince. he wrote:

Regarding the half time thing, that’s actually a pretty easy feature to add since we already have pitch resampling in. I can add it as a feature request. I’m going to set up a changelog + feature request portion of the website soon enough, so any additional requests can be made in a more trackable way.

So we can hope to see this feature in a future version of DL1!! That makes me happy, since it’s such an important thing (at least for me)! 🙂

since i wrote vince per mail to ask some more questions he answered this question as follows:

I’ll definitely make sure everything is compatible with 12. The script should, however just work. 10 -> 11 was a bit of a different story as they upgraded their python versions, but I don’t think that’s the case with 12.

Hey Ryan,

Vince answered my mail and gave me the following advice:

It sounds like you will need to do a hardware reset. To do that, open up the pedal, and then on the back of the PCB, you will see two angled contact points that need to be shorted (connected with a paperclip or something similar) while the USB cable is connected. That should then flash the DataLooper back to an initial firmware. You can then try reflashing the firmware onto the pedal. Make sure you’re directly connected to the computer when updating the firmware. Things should still work with rev-1.

on my PCB the string „PGM1“ indicates these contact points. So i did it this morning and it worked. 🙂

i assume it will work with your pedal also since it’s just a software problem.
